PRESERVATION FOUNDATION OF PALM BEACH

MISSION

The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach is dedicated to preserving the architectural and cultural heritage and the unique scenic quality of the Town of Palm Beach.  Through advocacy initiatives, educational programs, architectural resources, and cultural events, the Foundation’s goal is to encourage the community to learn about and save the historic sites that make Palm Beach special.

ARCHITECTURE COLLECTION

The Foundation’s architectural archives are an important resource that document the architectural history of the Town of Palm Beach. It includes over 50,000 architectural drawings and photographs as well business records and original artwork. Four prominent Palm Beach architects are included in the collection: John Volk, Marion Sims Wyeth, Belford Shoumate, and Henry Harding.
