Description
In 1923, Mizner constructed Via Mizner, a shopping complex to display Mizner Industries wares, complete with pedestrian vias, courtyards, and covered arches. Situated opposite the Everglades Club, Via Mizner showcased Mizner’s products from Los Manos tile factory along with building materials such as the roof tiles and cast stone decorative details. The buildings also housed Mizner’s private office and studio, offices for his staff, and a small apartment. In 1983, Via Mizner was designated as a landmark.
